Tell your Leaders to Support Emergency Funding for Homeless Children, Youth, and Families
It takes 1 minute. Children, youth, and families in your community need your help in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The COVID-19 crisis has made daily life even more unsafe for children, youth, and families who don’t have a place to call home. Without intervention, homelessness will skyrocket. Thousands of homeless children are already in danger of trafficking.
In response, a bipartisan group of U.S. Representatives and Senators introduced the Emergency Family Stabilization Act (H.R. 7950, S.3923).
- This legislation provides direct funding to community organizations who serve children, youth, and families in need, as well as survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and trafficking, LGBTQ+ individuals, racial and ethnic minorities, etc.
- By helping people experiencing homelessness as early as possible, we can reduce the spread of COVID-19 and protect children and families from the trauma of homelessness.
- To pass this critical legislation, your leaders need to hear from YOU first.
Take 1 minute to urge your local Members of Congress to cosponsor H.R. 7950/S.3923 and help families in need.
